Eligibility/Qualification

Required:

  • Publications: At least one original scientific publication as the lead author.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Engage in research leveraging methods in structural biology (X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM), protein-protein interactions, and drug design.
  • Conduct experiments related to protein purification, molecular biology techniques, and enzymatic assays.
  • Actively participate in teaching and mentoring students.
  • Contribute to scientific publications and grant writing.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and groups within the Centre.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with protein purification techniques, prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression systems, and macromolecule structure analysis.
  • Familiarity with software such as CCP4, Phenix, Relion, CryoSpark, and statistical tools like GraphPad/Origin.
