Eligibility/Qualification–
Eligibility varies by discipline and is detailed in Annexure-1.
Engineering Disciplines
For Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Printing Technology:
- B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S., or
- Integrated M.Tech.
- Degree(s) should be in the relevant branch.
- First Class or equivalent is required in any one of the degrees.
Computer Science & Engineering
Candidates should have:
- B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S., or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch, with First Class or equivalent in any one degree; OR
- Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering along with MCA, subject to the applicable AICTE qualifications for Assistant Professor in Engineering and Technology.
Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline; and
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration/PGDM/CA/ICWA/M.Com.
- First Class or equivalent.
- Two years of professional experience after acquiring the Master’s degree.
Music
- Master’s degree with 55% marks or equivalent grade in the relevant subject.
- NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or an equivalent UGC-accredited test such as SLET/SET, or a qualifying Ph.D. under applicable UGC regulations.
Physics / English
Candidates must satisfy either of the prescribed eligibility routes, including:
- Master’s degree with 55% marks or equivalent in a concerned/relevant/allied subject; and
- NET/SLET/SET or applicable Ph.D. exemption under UGC regulations.
Yoga
Route A:
- Master’s degree in Yoga or another relevant subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent.
- NET/SLET/SET or qualifying Ph.D.
Route B:
- Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent; and
- Ph.D. in Yoga under applicable UGC regulations.
Interior Design
- Master’s Degree in Interior Design or an allied discipline.
- At least 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university.
Animation
Route 1:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent PG Diploma in relevant areas such as Animation, Animation & Multimedia, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Visual Communication, Interior Design, New Media Studies and related design fields.
- At least 50% marks or equivalent.
- One year of relevant academic/industry experience in 2D/3D Animation/Gaming is desirable.
Route 2:
- M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT, MCA or M.Tech.
- At least 55% marks or equivalent.
- Minimum one-year Diploma/Certification in 2D/3D Animation/Gaming.
- One year relevant academic/industry experience is desirable.
Psychology
- Master’s degree in Psychology with at least 55% marks or equivalent from a recognized university.
- UGC-NET in Psychology or a Ph.D. in Psychology under applicable UGC regulations.
- Preference may be given to candidates with specialization in Clinical, Counselling, Industrial/Organizational, Cognitive, Social, Educational, Health or Applied Psychology, as relevant to the courses.
Law
- LL.M. degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent from a recognized university.
- UGC-NET in Law or Ph.D. in Law under applicable UGC regulations.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. in Law are exempt from NET.
General Eligibility Conditions
- Required qualifications and relevant experience will be assessed as on the date of the walk-in interview.
- Qualifications must be from recognized Boards/Universities/Institutes.
- Qualifications from institutions declared fake or unrecognized by the relevant regulatory bodies will not be accepted.
- Distance-mode qualifications are not admissible for teaching posts in Science and Technology.
- Candidates using a CGPA/grade-point system must provide the relevant conversion document.
- Candidates must satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed by the relevant regulatory body.

Designation: Guest Faculty
The selected/empanelled candidates will serve as Guest Faculty for the Academic Session 2026–27 in their respective disciplines.
The role involves teaching courses corresponding to the candidate’s subject specialization and qualifications. The appointment is on a guest-faculty/empanelment basis and does not provide a claim to regular appointment.
Guest Faculty:
- Will be empanelled for the academic session 2026–27.
- Will not have any claim for continuation or regularization.
- Will not be treated as regular teachers for voting rights or membership of University statutory bodies.
- Will not receive allowances, provisions, gratuity, leave and other benefits available to regular teachers.
Remuneration
Remuneration will be paid as per UGC norms.
Selection Process
Selection/empanelment will be through walk-in interviews.
The University will separately notify the date, time and venue of the interview on its website. Merely appearing for the interview does not guarantee empanelment.
Candidates should bring their original educational qualification and experience documents to the interview.
