Assistant Professor/Postdoc Position at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland

Post-Doctoral Fellowship Position at USA, Ozbolat Laboratory at Penn State

Assistant Professor/Postdoc Position: The Faculty of Chemistry at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology is seeking candidates for the position of postdoc in a joint project with Prof. Frank Cichos from Leipzig University. The project focuses on “Anti-Stokes Cooling for Fluidics,” and the successful candidate will conduct optical measurements of laser-induced cooling of nanocrystals in an optical microscope setup. The candidate will contribute to the development of optical nanothermometry techniques and the investigation of laser cooling effects on nanothermometry. Additionally, the candidate will participate in the development of rare-earth nanoparticles for laser cooling in water environments. This is a full-time temporary position with a starting date of September 1, 2023.

Designation: Assistant Professor / Postdoc

Research Area: Chemistry (Other), Physics, Optics

Location: Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland
