Assistant Professor (Tenure Track): Are you passionate about advancing the field of plant-light interactions and molecular biology? This is a Tenure Track position dedicated to plant molecular biology, light signaling, and developmental biology research, as well as teaching and supervision of students. Eligibility/Qualification:
- A Ph.D. in a field related to plant science and molecular biology.
- Proficiency in photobiology, synthetic biology, evolution, and/or photosynthesis in plant light signaling research.
- Strong record of scientific publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring research funding.
- Relevant experience in teaching and student supervision.
- Excellent English language proficiency (CEFR C2 level).
Job Description: As an Assistant Professor in this Tenure Track position, your role includes:
- Developing basic research with opportunities for translation and application in crops.
- Proactively acquiring research funding and fostering collaborations within and outside the research group.
- Supervising PhD, BSc, and MSc students and developing and teaching courses.
- Contributing to research on plant-light interactions, promoting innovations, and making connections locally and internationally.
- Diversifying the research and teaching staff within the Laboratory of Molecular Biology.
- Contributing to the academic community’s understanding of biological systems and their dynamics.
- Strengthening teaching and supervision in plant molecular biology.
