Eligibility/Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
  • First Class Honours degree or equivalent qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Relevant research experience in organic, inorganic, or organometallic synthesis.
  • Skills Required:
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Experience in Schlenk techniques and standard spectroscopy (NMR, IR).
  • Familiarity with X-ray crystallography is desirable.
  • Commitment: Must be able to undertake the project on-campus and on a full-time basis.

Job Description

As a PhD candidate, you will:

  • Conduct original research in the area of sustainable metal catalysts for CO2 conversion.
  • Collaborate with your supervisor, Dr. Curtis Ho, to explore and innovate strategies for CO2 valorisation.
  • Apply advanced synthesis and characterisation techniques to develop new catalysts.
  • Contribute to the academic community through publications and presentations of your research findings.
