Bonn International Fellowships:The University of Bonn invites applications for the Bonn International Fellowships. This program supports excellent researchers from all disciplines to spend short stays (up to 12 days) at the University, fostering international collaboration and enhancing academic life.

- Post-doctoral scholars and experienced faculty.
- Candidates must have a strong international reputation in their field of research.
- Applicants must be invited by a host from the University of Bonn.
- Applications can only be submitted by members of the University of Bonn.
Job Description:
The Bonn International Fellowships aims to:
- Invite distinguished researchers to engage deeply with the academic community at the University of Bonn.
- Ensure fellows contribute to academic life through public lectures, seminars, or colloquiums.
- Lay the groundwork for future collaborative projects between the applicants and fellows.
Funding Overview:
- Travel allowance for fellows (depending on country of origin).
- Daily allowance of €160 for the duration of the stay (up to 12 days).
- Maximum of €500 for material expenses related to hosted events.
Fellows must complete their stays between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026.

- Applications must be submitted by the host researcher at the University of Bonn and should include:
- An online form.
- Project description (max 6 pages PDF) detailing:
- Planned visit period.
- Reasons for the invitation and fellow’s accomplishments.
- Existing collaboration (if applicable).
- Integration plan into Bonn’s academic life.
- Expected outcomes and future collaboration plans.
- CV of the fellow (PDF).
- Signed invitation letter from the host (PDF).
- A financing plan (available as an Excel template).
