  • Citizenship: Applicants must possess foreign citizenship.

Job Description:

The Bonn SDG Fellowship offers postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to conduct a joint research project in collaboration with a tenured professor at the University of Bonn for a duration of 3 to 12 months. The project must contribute to the understanding or implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, addressing challenges relevant to the researcher’s region. Fellows will actively participate in academic life at Bonn, presenting research findings and engaging in seminars and workshops.

Funding Includes:

  • Monthly scholarship of €3,000.
  • Additional travel allowance based on the country of origin.
  • Research expense allowance up to €500 per month.
  • Additional funds for family members (up to €300 for a spouse, €250 per child).

Key Activities:

  1. Conducting high-quality research on SDG-related topics.
  2. Engaging in collaborative teaching and research activities.
  3. Contributing to university life through seminars and public lectures.
  4. Developing plans for long-term research collaboration with the University of Bonn.
