Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in math, data sciences, physics, optics, or engineering.
- Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and C++.
- Experience in signal/image analysis, with a background in Bayesian inference as a plus.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Strong motivation for scientific research and the ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be involved in the groundbreaking [BayesOM] project, which focuses on advancing phase demodulation techniques using Bayesian inference in optical metrology. This project holds great significance in semiconductor metrology, especially in the measurement of waveguide structures. The research will involve simulated and experimental conditions, numerical algorithms, and the implementation of Bayesian inference for precise optical full-field measurements. The project also includes a 6-month research stay in the Arctic University of Norway, Tromso, and collaboration with international experts in the field.
