Eligibility/Qualification
- Must hold or expect to hold a doctorate or health professional degree before the award start date.
- Completion of the degree requirements must have occurred no more than three years before September 1 of the application year.
- Not currently holding a tenure-track or tenured faculty position.
- For international applicants: must be currently enrolled or have completed a doctorate at a Canadian institution; or conducting postdoctoral research at a Canadian institution.
Job Description
The CPRA program provides funding for innovative research that develops skills and fosters significant contributions to Canada’s research ecosystem and global competitiveness. Awardees will design and conduct research programs that are predominantly research-oriented and distinct from their doctoral thesis.
