Description:
The project is focused on designing, synthesizing, and characterizing new low oxidation state main-group organometallic compounds. The research agenda includes:

  • Developing untraditional synthetic routes for low-oxidation state main group compounds.
  • Investigating redox-driven catalytic processes and isolating low oxidation state compounds.
  • Activating environmentally relevant small molecules.
    Students will receive training in advanced synthetic techniques, analytical methods, and computational supports for chemical research.
