Job Description: The Postdoctoral Research Associate will:
- Develop AI models for simultaneous bias-correction and downscaling of climate model projections.
- Collaborate with mentors from environmental sciences and data science fields.
- Pioneer the application of state-of-the-art AI techniques, including knowledge-guided Style Generative Adversarial Networks (StyleGAN) and diffusion models.
- Demonstrate expertise in AI, machine learning, data analysis, programming (Python), and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Innovate and adapt in a fast-paced research environment.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer through sharing research outcomes, educating others, and mentoring students.
- Join a cohort of Climate Fellows, receiving professional training and technical support.
Starting Salary: $65,000/year
Research Funds: $5,000/year
