Research Area

The focus is on structural DNA nanotechnology, involving the creation of artificial cellular mimics and other advanced materials through scaffold-free DNA assembly methods.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree or diploma in physics, applied mathematics, or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Good programming skills and experience with numerical modeling.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Strong motivation for interdisciplinary projects.
  • Experience with machine learning and high-performance computing is advantageous, though not required.

Description

The project will combine numerical models, experimental approaches, and AI techniques to predict and validate DNA nanostructures. Tasks will include running numerical simulations, building AI models to predict DNA structures, performing experimental validations, participating in international conferences, and preparing scientific publications. The position offers the opportunity to work in a leading multidisciplinary research environment with access to cutting-edge facilities.
