- Ph.D. in any scientific discipline obtained within 6 years prior to the application deadline or completed before September 2025

Job Description:
The Complexity Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Santa Fe Institute offers early-career scholars a unique opportunity to conduct independent research in a collaborative environment. Postdoctoral Fellows spend up to three years at SFI contributing to research in the sciences of complexity, participating in interdisciplinary activities, and enhancing leadership skills. Research at SFI spans the physical, natural, and social sciences, focusing on theoretical and computational work. Successful candidates will have the chance to work with global researchers, access funds for research, and benefit from a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

- Submit a Curriculum Vitae (including publication list)
- Provide a Statement of Research Interests (max. 2 pages) outlining your research goals and broader interests
- Include a Description of Interest in SFI (max. 1 page) detailing your potential contribution to the SFI community and explaining the impact of SFI on your research
- Arrange for three letters of recommendation from scholars familiar with your work to be sent directly to SFI
- Optionally, include a copy of a paper you have written in English
- Complete the Diversity form if desired
