Scholarship Description:
The Computational Science Manager will oversee the computational and analytical pipeline for the Brain Architecture Project. Responsibilities include managing project data, coordinating with experimental labs, and leading publication efforts. The candidate will work hands-on with databases, analytical pipelines, and scientific reporting. The position also involves project management and reporting duties, including grant and fellowship applications, manuscript preparation, and collaboration with external partners.
Eligibility:
- Education: MS in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Physics, or a related field. A PhD is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a research setting with a strong computational component. Experience in manuscript writing, grant applications, and managing research teams or laboratories is desirable.
- Skills: Proficiency in at least one of the following and familiarity with all: Matlab, Python, MySQL/SQL, JavaScript, Bash/Shell, and C/C++. Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills are essential.
