Description

The PhD research will explore new approaches and standards for creating intelligent networks and an agentic web. It emphasizes policy-based authorization, delegation of entitlements, and the assessment of trustworthiness of data paths within intelligent networks. Applicants should have prior knowledge or interest in areas such as intelligent networks, digital identity, authorization, and trust management. While exposure to neural-symbolic algorithms is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The selected candidates will work with the Institute of Cyber Security for Society (iCSS) and the School of Computing’s Cyber Security Research Group, contributing to international collaborations and the establishment of new standards and protocols.
