Eligibility/Qualification:
- A doctorate (or will soon satisfy the requirements of a PhD) in molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, protein chemistry, metabolic engineering, or synthetic/engineering biology.
- Less than 3 years of postdoctoral research experience.
- Experience in microbial genome/strain engineering or metabolic engineering.

CSIRO Postdoctoral Fellowship in Microbial Consortia Engineering (two roles)
The successful candidates will:
- Develop tools for genetic transformation of microbial species.
- Cultivate microbes and employ analytical methods to characterize their behavior.
- Create communities of engineered microbes capable of cooperation.
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and contribute to projects within the CSIRO Advanced Engineering Biology (AEB) Future Science Platform (FSP).

Salary: AU$92,624 – AU$101,459 plus up to 15.4% superannuation
