Study Area: The LGSA’s interdisciplinary Ph.D. program explores Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Cancer Biology, Immunology, Neurobiology, Microbiom, and Bioinformatics. Scholarship Description: LGSA, belonging to the Leibniz Association, offers an international postgraduate program to outstanding students. The program integrates research groups working on various aspects of aging and age-related diseases. Scholarship recipients benefit from interdisciplinary training, language classes, and mentorship. The program language is English, fostering a global research perspective.

Eligibility: International students with a master’s degree or equivalent in natural sciences (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Physics, and Chemistry) are eligible. Applicants should have excellent academic marks, not have resided in Germany for more than fifteen months before nomination, and preferably graduated within the last six years.
