Data Steward (Research Engineer): PSL University is seeking a highly motivated Data Steward with expertise in chemistry and computer science for its recently funded ChemAI major research program. The successful candidate will lead the digital transformation of the chemistry and chemical engineering departments, developing robust data management infrastructure and user-friendly tools to enhance research workflows. This role will also involve collaboration with other academic institutions, such as the Paris Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (PR[AI]RIE) and the DIM MaTerRe research program of the Ile-de-France region.

Job Description:
- Develop and maintain infrastructure to support the digital transition of chemistry/chemical engineering departments.
- Create and implement user-friendly tools for interacting with databases.
- Establish best practices and optimal workflows for digital research processes.
- Lead the development of a repository of scripts and Jupyter notebooks integrating machine learning into research workflows.
- Provide training and technical support to the chemistry community.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to modify tools for specific applications.
- Promote digital tools within the wider PSL chemistry community.
