Distinguished PKS Postdoctoral Fellow: The Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems (MPI-PKS) is seeking a highly motivated and exceptional postdoctoral fellow to join its team. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • At least one year of postdoctoral experience at an institution different from where the PhD was awarded.
  • Applications may be considered in exceptional cases from candidates who have just completed their PhD.
  • Candidates must submit an application package including a cover letter, curriculum vitae, list of publications, statement of research interests, research proposal, and three most relevant publications.
  • Arrange for three letters of reference to be submitted.

Job Description:
As a Distinguished PKS Postdoctoral Fellow, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct independent theoretical research in any of the mentioned fields.
  • Complement existing research areas at the institute while contributing to new, novel directions in physics.
  • Be featured on the institute’s main research page along with the other departments and groups.

The fellowship is a full-time, fixed-term appointment for two years, with the possibility of a one-year extension.
