Job Description:
The doctoral research project revolves around:
- Exploring the unique properties of spin crossover (SCO) materials, which exhibit electronic state transitions triggered by temperature or pressure changes.
- Investigating the fundamental properties of these materials, such as crystallographic, calorimetric, and magnetic characteristics, under various temperature and pressure conditions.
- Synthesizing materials with sharp SCO transitions and reduced thermal hysteresis, suitable for room temperature or higher.
- Developing these materials into centimeter-scale ceramics via innovative sintering processes.
- Participating in a European innovation project, contributing to the development of a low greenhouse gas emission heat exchanger.
