Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioscience Engineering, Materials Science, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong interest in scientific research and sustainable circular solutions.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with inline or online spectroscopic sensing techniques (NIR, Raman, etc.).
- Familiarity with chemometric methods (PLS, PCA, etc.).
- Knowledge of polymer characterization techniques.
- Basic programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or R.
Job Description:
The doctoral fellow will:
- Develop and apply sensing methodologies combined with machine learning and chemometric modeling.
- Collaborate with promotors, colleagues, and industrial partners.
- Aim for publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international conferences.
- Drive research leading to a PhD thesis focusing on polymer recycling processes.
