Doctoral Position: The Hector Fellow Academy announces the opening of the application portal for doctoral positions starting on January 15, 2024. Early career researchers are invited to submit their applications for fully funded doctoral projects or apply for advertised positions within Hector Fellow and Hector RCD Awardee research groups until March 31, 2024. This initiative aims to support promising young researchers by offering doctoral positions with dedicated research budgets.

  • Outstanding Master’s graduates for advertised doctoral positions
  • Current members of a Hector Fellow’s research group (with less than 6 months of employment)

Job Description:

  • Conducting research within the chosen Hector Fellow or Hector RCD Awardee research group
  • Fully funded doctoral position for up to four years with a salary in line with institute standards
  • Participation in interdisciplinary network of top researchers
  • Additional training on management topics and coaching
  • Opportunity to contribute to and benefit from the Hector Fellow Academy

  3. Existing research group members – Those working in a Hector Fellow’s research group (with less than 6 months of employment) can become part of the Hector Fellow Academy.
