Job Description
The doctoral researcher will:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in channel coding for next-generation (6G) wireless systems
- Participate in a research & development project with a high-tech industry partner
- Work full-time at Technical University of Munich (TUM)
- Support teaching activities and contribute to organizational tasks within the institute
- Publish research findings in high-impact journals and conferences
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Scientific research in coding theory and wireless communications
- Teaching assistance (tutorials, supervision, grading)
- Contribution to academic and organizational activities of the institute
Eligibility / Qualification
Applicants must have:
- An MSc degree (with above-average grades) in
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Science
- or a closely related discipline
- Prior experience in channel coding (preferred)
- Strong analytical and mathematical background
- Motivation for academic research and teamwork
