Eligibility/Qualification
- Must meet basic eligibility requirements for postgraduate education:
- Completed a second-cycle degree (e.g., Master’s) relevant to the position (e.g., industrial ecology, sustainability science, chemistry, chemical engineering), or
- Completed at least 240 higher education credits, including a minimum of 60 second-cycle higher education credits, or
- Equivalently acquired knowledge.
- Completed advanced-level course in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
- Completed degree project in LCA or corresponding experience.
- Courses in chemistry or chemical engineering at university level are required.
- English proficiency equivalent to English B/6.
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Engage in pLCA data and method development, LCA modeling (potentially in Python), and qualitative research into socio-technical dimensions.
- Collaborate with PhD candidates across chemistry, chemical engineering, and industrial economics.
- Contribute to the design of energy-efficient processes, scalable catalysts, and high-value chemical synthesis pathways.
