Scholarship Description: The purpose of the study is to characterize the diversity, functions, and resilience of microbial communities linked with plant species used in ecological restoration. The project, situated on the Whabouchi site operated by Nemaska Lithium, involves laboratory work (microbiology, genomics), bioinformatics analyses, and fieldwork in the northern, remote region of Eeyou-Istchee (James Bay).

Eligibility: The position is open to all qualified candidates. Knowledge of the French language is an asset as the position is based at Université de Sherbrooke.
