Eligibility/Qualification

  1. General Eligibility:
  • A second-cycle/master’s degree or equivalent (minimum 240 credits with at least 60 credits at the master’s level).
  1. Specific Eligibility:
  • Proficiency in English equivalent to English B/English 6 from Swedish upper secondary school.
  1. Desirable Skills:
  • Culturing human and/or stem cells.
  • Molecular biology methods, including microscopy and analysis.
  • Experience in toxicological analysis and human reproductive biology is an advantage.

Description

The doctoral student will be part of the ERC-funded project SAFER, focusing on:

  • Collecting and handling clinical samples.
  • Advanced cell and tissue culture methods, including stem cell techniques.
  • Analyzing chemical toxicity in cell and tissue cultures.
  • Developing genetically modified cell systems.
    The environment is collaborative, with international research partnerships. A focus on meticulous documentation, strong analytical skills, and interpersonal abilities is essential.
