Description
The scholarship will focus on two key research lines:
- Advanced Designs: Development of joints and connections that enhance the efficiency of 3D printed concrete structures and allow the incorporation of low carbon footprint materials.
- Curved Geometries: Investigation into the design and manufacturing of structures utilizing innovative forms achievable through 3D printing, as well as their combination with traditional construction processes.
The research will be co-directed by professors David López López (Barcelona School of Architecture, UPC) and Jaime Mata Falcón (School of Civil Engineering, Polytechnic University of Valencia). This project aims to modernize the construction sector through advanced techniques and environmentally efficient solutions.
