Eligibility/Qualification

  • MSc in biological sciences, microbiology, chemical biology, or biochemistry (candidates in the final stages of MSc completion may also apply).
  • Laboratory experience with bacterial specialized metabolites and analytics is desirable.
  • Strong passion for interdisciplinary research.
  • High level of curiosity, motivation, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Cooperative, team-oriented personality, eager to contribute to an inclusive scientific community.

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent doctoral research in chemical biology and microbial interactions.
  • Perform laboratory experiments and analyze research results.
  • Prepare figures and manuscripts for publication in scientific journals.
  • Present findings at local, national, and international conferences.
  • Collaborate with researchers across experimental and computational disciplines within the Cluster.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of student assistants and junior researchers.
  • Contribute to a friendly, welcoming, and collaborative research environment.
