Description
The doctoral researcher will investigate emergent electronic phenomena in two-dimensional materials through gate-tunable scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). The role involves fabricating and characterizing nanoelectronic devices using state-of-the-art facilities, including low-temperature STM and spectroscopy. The selected candidate will collaborate with both experimental and theoretical teams within the Atomic Scale Physics group, contributing to high-impact research on materials such as transition metal dichalcogenides, Mott insulators, and multiferroics.
