Eligibility/Qualification
- Excellent M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Quantum Technology, or related field.
- Strong Python programming skills (required).
- Knowledge of quantum computing principles (required).
- Familiarity with conventional communication networks and/or distributed computing (advantage).
- Experience with Qiskit, QuTiP, pytket, or circuit optimization (advantage).
- Background in software development, optimization techniques, and machine learning (advantage).
- Ability to conduct independent research and collaborate in an interdisciplinary team.
Description
The successful candidate will engage in research focused on the design of distributed quantum algorithms, circuits, and error correction techniques. Tasks will include developing software tools and conducting independent research aimed at completing a doctoral thesis within four years. The role may also involve assisting in teaching tasks.
