Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Required:
  • MSc (or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Applied Physics, or a related field
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Experience in navigation, flight, control, robotics, drones, magnetic sensing, or similar areas
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with PixHawk Autopilot, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ROS/ROS2
  • Proficient in programming (Matlab, Python, C++)
  • Familiarity with machine learning and/or deep learning methods

Job Description

  • Develop a bird-inspired algorithm and robot for magnetic navigation
  • Conduct flight tests to address engineering and biological hypotheses
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects
  • Participate in qualification programs, retreats, and seminars to enrich scientific discussions and teamwork
