Eligibility/Qualification
- Eligible for doctoral education (suitable higher university degree or equivalent)
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Background in geography, ecology, environmental sciences, geoinformatics, or computer science preferred
Description
The PhD candidate will engage in fieldwork and remote sensing studies, focusing on:
- Collection and analysis of field data
- Processing remote sensing and UAV data
- Conducting data analysis using machine and deep learning methods
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Candidates should have an interest in Arctic and peatland ecosystems. A driver’s license and a drone license (or drone experience) are advantageous.
