Doctoral Researcher – Photosynthesis, University of Turku, Finland

Postdoc in Finland

Doctoral Researcher – Photosynthesis: The University of Turku, Finland, invites applications for a Doctoral Researcher position to investigate the regulatory mechanisms of membrane potential in cyanobacteria and its biotechnological implications. The project, led by Dr. Lauri Nikkanen, focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of how photosynthetic bacteria regulate the proton motive force across their thylakoid membranes. The research aims to unravel how cyanobacteria adapt to changing environments and apply this knowledge to optimize solar-powered sustainable biotechnologies.
