Eligibility/Qualification
- A relevant Master’s degree or an equivalent degree from abroad.
- Must meet the admission criteria for the doctoral programme.
- Planning or currently pursuing a first doctoral degree.
- Registration as a postgraduate student at the University of Eastern Finland or planning to complete a doctoral dissertation there.
- Those in the final stages of their Master’s degree may apply if they complete their degree by September 16, 2025.
- Must have conducted doctoral research on a full-time basis for less than four years by December 31, 2025.
- Proficient in English.
Job Description
The Doctoral Researcher will conduct research related to their doctoral dissertation, as per their approved research proposal, with the goal of completing their degree within four years of full-time study. The positions are initially offered for up to three years, starting from January 1, 2026. Candidates may apply for either full-time or part-time positions, with part-time positions requiring co-funding.
