Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Must not have resided or conducted main activities in Sweden for more than 12 months in the past 3 years.
  • A second-cycle degree (e.g., master’s) or at least 240 higher education credits, with a minimum of 60 credits at the second-cycle level.
  • Completed university-level courses in polymer chemistry, materials chemistry, or polymer technology.
  • English language proficiency equivalent to English B/6.

Job Description:

The doctoral candidate will:

  • Synthesize and apply high-performance barrier layers for moulded cellulose fibre products.
  • Model structure and properties during synthesis, lamination, use, and recycling.
  • Engage in both fundamental research and practical application development.
  • Work under the supervision of renowned faculty and industry professionals.
