Research Area
The research project is conducted at the prestigious Man-Technology-Environment (MTM) Research Centre, an interdisciplinary leader in environmental and health-related research. The project focuses on:
- Evaluating Remediation Techniques: Testing effectiveness and feasibility of methods (individual and combined strategies) to remediate PFAS-contaminated sites.
- Cost-Benefit Analysis: Applying economic evaluations to identify sustainable remediation methods.
- Analytical Chemistry Development: Studying PFAS removal/degradation in soil, water, and air using both targeted and screening methods.
This project is part of the Tuffo research and innovation programme, managed by the Swedish Geotechnical Institute, addressing contamination at hazardous sites.
Eligibility/Qualifications
