Eligibility/Qualification

  • Must have a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of organic synthesis and/or polymer synthesis.
  • Experience with molecular modeling and biosensor-oriented analytical chemistry.
  • A minimum of 240 ECTS credits, with at least 60 credits at the second-cycle level.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Candidates must not have resided in Sweden for more than 12 months in the last three years prior to recruitment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop epitope imprinted nano molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) for recognizing tumor-specific antigens.
  • Engage in molecular modeling and nanoMIP synthesis and characterization.
  • Collaborate with other PhD students and partner organizations.
  • Potentially engage in teaching or administrative duties up to 20% of the position prior to completion of the doctoral degree.
