Eligibility/Qualification
- Must have a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of organic synthesis and/or polymer synthesis.
- Experience with molecular modeling and biosensor-oriented analytical chemistry.
- A minimum of 240 ECTS credits, with at least 60 credits at the second-cycle level.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Candidates must not have resided in Sweden for more than 12 months in the last three years prior to recruitment.
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Develop epitope imprinted nano molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) for recognizing tumor-specific antigens.
- Engage in molecular modeling and nanoMIP synthesis and characterization.
- Collaborate with other PhD students and partner organizations.
- Potentially engage in teaching or administrative duties up to 20% of the position prior to completion of the doctoral degree.
