Eligibility & Academic Qualifications
- Master’s Degree: Minimum average score of 65% with Merit or above from a recognized British university, or international equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree: Upper Second Class Honours (2:1) or higher from a British university, or international equivalent.
- Direct Entry from Bachelor’s: First-class honours from a British university or Double First-Class Chinese university may be considered by the Faculty of Science and Engineering, NUBS China, and School of Economics.
- Country-Specific Criteria:
- United States: Minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0.
- China: Minimum weighted average score of 85 out of 100.
- English Language Proficiency: Applicants must meet the standard UNNC English language entry requirements for the relevant PhD subject.
- Supervisor Support: Applicants must contact a prospective UNNC supervisor who agrees to support the project and application before submitting.
