Scholarship Description: The DTP is offering a significant number of fully funded places, with the possibility of up to 20 studentships available each year. A studentship package comprises course fees (co-funded by NERC & the University), a tax-free living allowance from NERC, and a research and training support grant from NERC.

Eligibility: The DTP program is open to a wide range of candidates interested in environmental research. Eligibility criteria and selection will be in line with the University’s guidelines on admissions processes.

Required Documents: Applicants are required to provide the following documents:

  • Contact details for 3 references, with one being a recent academic supervisor.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the integrated template provided on the application form.
  • A personal statement of approximately 500 words, outlining your research interests and possible reviewers for your application.
  • Any existing university transcripts if available.
