Early Career Plant Scientists: The Umeå Plant Science Centre (UPSC) is offering a unique opportunity for early-career plant scientists to participate in a symposium. This event aims to connect talented young researchers with UPSC group leaders, providing a platform to present their work, explore common research interests, and design their own postdoctoral projects.
Designation: Early Career Plant Scientist
Research Area: Experimental plant research and forest biotechnology
Location: Umeå Plant Science Centre, Umeå, Northern Sweden
Eligibility/Qualification: To be eligible, candidates should be within 1 year of defending their PhD or have obtained their PhD within the last 2 years. Applicants must have published at least one manuscript as the first author in a peer-reviewed journal or as a preprint.
Job Description: Successful candidates will have the opportunity to attend a two-day symposium on March 21-22, 2024, in Umeå. During this event, they will present their PhD work, interact with UPSC group leaders, and identify potential postdoctoral projects. All costs associated with the symposium will be covered by UPSC.
