Eligibility/Qualification

  • Candidates must be early-career scientists in the biological and biomedical sciences community.
  • Individuals from historically underrepresented groups within the life sciences are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Term: Applicants will serve a two-year term beginning July 1 of the year appointed and ending June 30 of the second year in service.

Job Description

As an Early-Career Representative on FASEB’s Board of Directors or Science Policy Committee, you will:

  • Represent early-career scientists’ perspectives and interests in vital discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Engage with other board members to foster dialogue between current and future generations of researchers.
  • Contribute to policies and initiatives that enhance the visibility and impact of early-career scientists within the life sciences community.
