The ECTRIMS Fellowship Program 2026 offers a fully funded opportunity for young scientists and physicians to engage in advanced research on multiple sclerosis (MS) and related diseases in various European research laboratories and clinics.
Designation:
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Research Area:
Basic, applied, or clinical research on multiple sclerosis (MS) and related diseases.
Location:
Various European research laboratories or clinics (specific host institute in a different European country than the applicant’s citizenship).
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Must hold a degree or be currently enrolled in MD, PhD, ScD, or an equivalent professional degree.
- Advanced degrees must be conferred before the start of the fellowship.
- No prior work experience at the same institution or with the same supervisor.
- Must have less than 5 years of postdoctoral experience post-final degree.
- Applicants should be under 40 years of age.
- Open to applicants from any country, with additional conditions for European citizens.
- No language barriers between applicant and mentor.
Job Description:
Fellows will:
- Conduct research in designated laboratories or clinics.
- Participate in annual ECTRIMS congresses during the fellowship duration (1-2 years).
- Benefit from guidance by selected mentors in a collaborative environment.
