Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics, or related fields.
  • Deep analytical skills and a proven record of academic excellence.
  • Familiarity with mechanics of materials or continuum mechanics based on project interest.
  • Fluency in English (C1 level or higher).

Description

TU/e’s Mechanics of Materials section is recognized worldwide for its high-level research on the mechanical behavior of materials. The PhD projects will focus on sustainable development in various contexts, collaborating closely with industry partners. The successful candidates will engage in challenging research topics that aim to advance the knowledge and application of sustainable materials.
