EMBL Corporate Partnership Programme: The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) invites applications for its Corporate Partnership Programme Fellowship aimed at supporting junior-level scientific visitors. This fellowship provides an opportunity for early-career researchers to collaborate with acclaimed host research groups while gaining access to state-of-the-art technologies and facilities across EMBL sites.

Location:

All EMBL sites: Barcelona, Grenoble, Hamburg, Heidelberg, Hinxton, and Rome

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Current Ph.D. or postdoctoral researchers
  • No restrictions on age, gender, nationality, scientific background, or current location, except for affiliations with UN/EU-sanctioned institutes
  • Must be employed and return to home institution upon completion of fellowship
  • Minimum stay of 1 month to a maximum of 6 months, hosted by an EMBL research group
  • Only first visit to EMBL supported; applications must be submitted and accepted before commencement of the visit
  • Retroactive applications are not permitted
  • Visitors to EMBL Core Facilities are not eligible for this fellowship

Job Description:

The EMBL CPP Fellowship is designed to strengthen scientific collaboration and training by enabling young researchers to utilize EMBL’s advanced research environment. Fellowship awardees will receive up to €4,000 to cover travel or accommodation expenses upon providing receipts.

Participants are expected to:

  • Submit a short activity report post-visit
  • Work closely with an EMBL hosting group
  • Benefit from logistic and organizational support provided by the Scientific Visitor Programme office
