Job Details:

Research Area: Fluid-Structure Interactions of Flapping Flags

Location: Lausanne, Switzerland

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, or physics
  • Strong interest in experimental fluid mechanics
  • Experience with experimental mechanics or designing laboratory experiments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Job Description:

  • Conduct original research on the behavior of flags with non-uniform bending stiffness in various wind conditions
  • Lead and contribute to scientific publications
  • Assist with general lab activities, including teaching and student project supervision
