Job Description:
- Assemble reference-quality genomes of bat species using PacBio HiFi and HiC data
- Analyze transcriptomics data to annotate new genomes and generate whole genome alignments
- Utilize homology-based methods like TOGA for analysis
- Support the BATPROTECT project in its mission to uncover the genomic basis of adaptations in bats
