Excellence Postdoctoral Fellowships:

  • Outstanding early career researcher with an excellent scientific track record
  • Hold a PhD in Physics, Biology, or related fields
  • Novelty of the proposed research project with fit to the scientific aims of PoL

Job Description:
The Excellence Postdoctoral Fellowships provide a unique interdisciplinary environment, scientific independence, and generous resources for the most outstanding young scientists in the field. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to choose one PoL Core Group and one additional PoL Core or Affiliate/Associate Group as host groups to perform a collaborative project. The position will be covered for 3 years with an optional one-year extension, offering scientific independence to design and execute research projects, supervision and mentoring from two PoL PIs, access to state-of-the-art facilities, teaching opportunities, and the ability to apply for additional funding.
