Faculty Position in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering in Catalysis

The Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering (ISIC) at EPFL is seeking applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in chemistry or chemical engineering with a strong emphasis on catalysis. The position involves research and teaching, with specific interests in sustainable polymers, “N” chemistry, and (photo)electro catalysis for fine chemical synthesis. The successful candidate will play an active role in the NCCR Catalysis, collaborating with over 40 research groups at EPFL, ETHZ, and other Swiss Institutes and Universities. Start-up resources, a competitive research budget, and cutting-edge research infrastructure are available.

Eligibility: Candidates should have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, along with an outstanding research record. As a professor of chemistry or chemical engineering, they are expected to initiate and develop a creative research and teaching program.
