Eligibility/Qualification–
Assistant Professor Grade-II
Applicants must possess:
- Ph.D. with First Class (minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA) in the relevant discipline.
- Excellent academic record throughout.
- Minimum 4 first-author Q1 journal publications (3 for Computational & Data Sciences).
Assistant Professor Grade-I
Applicants must possess:
- Ph.D. with First Class (minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA).
- Minimum 3 years of teaching/research/industry experience (excluding Ph.D. period).
- Minimum 6 first-author Q1 journal publications (4 for Mathematics & Statistics and Computational & Data Sciences).
Additional department-specific qualifications and postdoctoral experience requirements apply for several thrust areas.

Salary & Benefits
Assistant Professor Grade-II
- Academic Pay Level 10: ₹70,900/-
- Academic Pay Level 11 after one year post-PhD experience: ₹73,100/-
Assistant Professor Grade-I
- Academic Pay Level 12: ₹1,01,500/-
- Eligible for movement to Academic Pay Level 13A1 after 3 years subject to performance evaluation.
