Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (completed within the past 5 years).
  • Strong background in spectrum management, wireless communications, signal processing, and interference analysis.
  • Proficiency in software tools for signal analysis (e.g., MATLAB, Python, RF simulation tools).
  • Experience with field experiments/measurements and relevant equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy “Q” clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) platforms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory aspects of spectrum management.
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques in signal processing.
