Eligibility/Qualification:
- Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (completed within the past 5 years).
- Strong background in spectrum management, wireless communications, signal processing, and interference analysis.
- Proficiency in software tools for signal analysis (e.g., MATLAB, Python, RF simulation tools).
- Experience with field experiments/measurements and relevant equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers).
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy “Q” clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory aspects of spectrum management.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques in signal processing.
